ugly MANOOS

people, mumbai, fan, hitler, muslims

Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray is really a big guy with big thinking. Their are a very few people who have such a charisnatic persona, even the richest person of India can't stand by him if we talk about the greatness in the form of ideas possessed by a manoos. With many accomplishment in his life this 84 year young man has totally different kind of thoughts about various communities and different idealism. Later some of his ideas adopted in a more advanced and processed form by his cute nephew Raj Thackeray who is using those for betterment of the society in a very sophisticated way. I'm die hard fan of both of them specially the super big guy, always desired to have such a thoughts. The recent incident provoked me to write about this guy who occasionally shows his charismatic idealism when he suggested my super rich buddy Mukesh Anbani that what should he speak and shouldn't speak.

Well I want to share some special quotes of this super special manoos, those he spat.....sorry delivered in the process of mass teaching.
In 1980s he said about the Muslims-
"They [Muslims] were spreading like a cancer and should be operated on like a cancer. The... country should be saved from the Muslims and the police should support them [Hindu Maha Sangh] in their struggle just like the police in Punjab were sympathetic to the Khalistanis."
In 2002, Thackeray issued a call to form Hindu suicide squads to counter alleged Muslim violence
'If such suicide squads are formed only then can we take on perpetrators of mindless violence.'
About former president of India he said "Kalam was a leading scientist of the country but had "lost the dignity of the post" after he became President.
In 2008 about north Indians his idea was,
"They [Biharis] are not wanted in southern India, Assam and also Punjab and Chandigarh. The Biharis have antagonised local population wherever they had settled. The UP-Bihari MPs have shown their ingratitude towards Mumbai and Maharashtra with an anti-Marathi tirade in Parliament."
"Hitler did very cruel and ugly things. But he was an artist, I love him (for that). He had the power to carry the whole nation, the mob with him. You have to think what magic he had. He was a miracle.... The killing of Jews was wrong. But the good part about Hitler was that he was an artist. He was a daredevil. He had good qualities and bad. I may also have good qualities and bad ones."
November 2009, Thackeray published an editorial in Saamana which criticised a statement made by Sachin Tendulkar in an interview where he said "Mumbai belongs to India... I am a Maharashtrian and am extremely proud of that, but I am an Indian first."
So this was a small portion of his large pool of innovative ideas. Their are many politicians who are using these kind of idealism for enlarging their vote pool  having different faces. As these  politicians are being elected by us as our representatives, so what they are doing is actually being done by us. Without people's support they couldn't last for more than five years. Thus these idealism are also belongs to us, in this case it belongs to 'the marathi manoos'. This represents the ugly face of human species.

MAY GOD BLESS US.
